Worst Motel Experience of Our Lives
We've stayed in hotels and motels in nearly all 50 states and dozens of countries and this was the worst experience that we've ever had in this ridiculously run motel. We arrived there in a snowstorm around 9:00 PM and were denied the room that we booked. A sign in the lobby said to use the phone on their wall after 7:00. The man on the other end told my wife that he would be right down. Fifteen minutes later we tried again, since the liar did not come down. I called and he lied to me and said that we weren't booked. I then went out and got my computer to get our booking number from hotels.com. I talked to the man on the phone again, who said that he was the security guard, and he admitted that he had lied about us not being booked, but he couldn't let us in after 7;00! I tried to reason with the idiot, but he insisted we couldn't be given a room and that we needed to find a different motel since there were several in the area. He acted like we were in the wrong since an alleged sign said that no one could get their room after 7, which was another boldface lie, since a sign said to call him if we were to arrive after that hour. Anyway, nothing of the sort was stated on hotels.com, My wife photographed the sign. Who ever thought a motel would refuse reservations after 7 PM and force anyone out into a snowstorm, especially one that was connected with a reputable company like Red Roof Inns. Furthermore, we noticed that there were Red Roof Inn photos describing how pet-friendly

Unwanted visitors
The room in itself was clean except for the roaches that were crawling around not only on the walls of the room but also in the bathroom where after awaking early and going into the bathroom there were several crawling around on the floor and wall. After everyone had gotten up and dressed we had found that in one of the beds there were dead roaches as well. Check out was another thing as if you are like me I like to let the attendant know that I am checking out whether it be early or by their checkout time. We were ready to leave by 8:30 the next morning but there was no attendant available until 11:00 and we had plans to be at our next destination by that time. Never again will I book a room at this hotel.

Stay way extremely disappointing, when checking in we were met by a man wearing a security vest and carrying a gun. Our room was dirty - the floor was sticky, there were cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom areas. The bathroom had stains all over the countertop and it smelled like urine or mold. When we checked out they over charged by 3 times what should have been charged and it took several calls and an hour on the phone to correct.

Terrible! I’m surprised (disappointed) Hotels.com even has this on their site! The entire area is run down and deserted! This should not be considered a hotel, more like a low income residence. Check in was terrible, room had nothing but BARE essentials! No towels, cups, ice. Should have known by the price! The reviews we obviously ignored were right on point! Discovered cockroaches under our cooler in the morning. Do not stay here!!
