Gorgeous Cusco
The hotel is located close to the main attractions, with a beautiful view of the city.

Good 6.0
Friendly service, but no blackout curtains
The good: Friendly service, staff speaks some English, average breakfast, cute Incan themed lobby. The bad: curtains so thin it was like sleeping with the lights on, lack of attention to detail such as no waste basket in the room, no soap holder in the shower, and no towels in room when we checked in. Area seemed safe and was a couple blocks uphill from the main square.

Fantastic little hotel feels like home!
Really friendly staff, very comfortable bed, lovely sheets & pillows. Very hot water in shower, good heater in room, Netflix on big TV in room. Excellent WIFI. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh sheets and towels. Good breakfast buffet with fresh coffee and eggs made to order. Coca tea 24/7 in reception Taxi to and from Cusco airport included Well located for main square, San Blas and local Ruins. Lots of bars and restaurants and mini markets on doorstep to buy bottles of water, snacks & drinks for room. This is a restored colonial house and by local law must keep original features in rooms. This makes each room individual Quiet and secure

Exceptional 10.0
A proper hotel for the price of a hostel.
We have been travelling across South America staying in places on a similar budget to this place, and as soon as we walked through the door here, we thought that this was a step above the rest. Whilst there is still some "finishing-off" to do, the decor is impressive. The breakfast spread is the best we have seen so far in South America. During busy periods, they can sometimes be a little slow to clear tables, or supply clean plates etc, but it is still a great breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a mild smell of drains in the bathroom, which we have found to be quite common across the continent. The views from our first floor room was great. The WiFi was completely workable at all times. The staff throughout the hotel were outstandingly helpful in all matters, including the organisation of the FREE transfers to or from the airport or bus station. The building is not perfect: it is beautiful and historic, which means that you will encounter noise from doors, floorboards, etc. Despite these flaws, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Cusco, and for the price I paid I would recommend this hotel to anybody.
