Great stay - would happily return
We had a really great time at this hotel. The location was perfect for us - a short walk to the V&A through a secure private gate and then 5 minutes away. There’s also a petrol station with convenience store less than a minute away for snacks if needed. Check in was warm, efficient and friendly which was great after a long journey. We were able to check in early after our flight and this was very appreciated. The room itself was a great size with a great bed, big tv and lots of channels. The bathroom was spotless with nice toiletries that were also plentiful. The complimentary water and tea and coffee was appreciated. We made use of the room service menu which was slightly limited but good quality. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning too. A great selection. If I were being picky I would say that the pool was cold and could do with heating. We wanted to use this but it wasn’t warm enough for us so sadly we didn’t. No big thing but something to be aware of if this is important to you. There is also no shaver point in the bathroom or anywhere in the hotel. This was a shame and an oversight. Again, not a huge deal but perhaps having an adaptor available would make this better thought out. Lastly we were offered to return to the same room (we stayed on separate occasions with a short break) and thought this was a great touch. However when we asked about this we were told our previous room was occupied and that was the end of it. Overall though - fabulous.

Nice, new hotel with very obliging staff. Relatively small scale in that it’s fitted in to quite a small site. This means the pool is on the roof and is small, often in shade and pretty windy - though it’s nice to have the ability to take a quick dip. The big downside is the location: it looks on to a railway line and shipping container depot and is very hard to locate via satnav. Plus you cannot really walk into the Waterfront area proper, not unless you mind jumping c. 1 metre (maybe a bit more) down onto a disused (I hope) railway line and squeezing through a temporary fence - if you can do this, then fine ( I can but many cannot and / or will not expect to have to). Breakfasts were very good with a big, fresh choice of food (though it would have been perfect f they’d served fresh pancakes). All in all, a very positive experience.

Brand new hotel near city centre and V&A
This hotel just opened in December 2018 and is a stylish addition to Cape Town. We especially liked the friendly welcome from staff and the wonderful views of Table Mountain from our hotel room. There's a complimentary canal boat connecting the hotel to the V&A Waterfront (the journey is ~20 mins and don't forget to pick-up a voucher from reception). And everywhere else is an inexpensive Uber ride away. Secure underground parking was a reasonable R100/night. There was a wide selection for Breakfast and it was generally tasty (just avoid the salmon). The staff could be more consistent: we were only offered fresh barrister made coffee on our 4th and last morning, and no attempt at all was made to publicise the made-to-order eggs available from the kitchen. I would have rated the AC excellent, save for a few teething problems and niggles from what felt like a new and slightly inexperienced team. For instance, our dirty towels were removed one day, yet not replaced. Shower gel was not replenished when empty. The in-room Nespresso machine was a nice touch, yet impossible to plug-in as it didn't have a South African power plug!

Great location near Waterfront and very modern clean hotel. Location is a little annoying - as the back entrance is closed. This means the walk to Waterfront takes 15 minutes (but could be 5 if they keep back entrance open). Wouldn't advise walking around here at night time. Felt like the check-in clerk was deliberately difficult. Had two "back to back" reservations and requested the same room. The check-in clerk advised he couldn't guarantee the same room, and would need to move. The reservations was in same room category, so didn't see the issue. In the end they were able to accommodate. Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for giving me a smile in the morning, before I've had coffee!

More infor at check in pls
A new built hotel so very much fresh and modern. My room overlooked table mountain which was nice. What i did not get told at check in was there is a free shuttle on the hour to v and a waterfront. So its not a hotel you can really walk to and from. The check in was probably my least positive experience. Most energy collecting the charge of the stay and the deposit (btw which ive still not had back). Breakfast was great and the staff are great in there. So im left disapointed with check in and the monies and the fact that the check in girl offered nothing in terms of information. However other than that a good hotel generally.
