Excellent, clean, classy hotel
The stay was fantastic. The room was large and welcoming. The view, in spite of the weather, made for a unique experience. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern and huge. Staff was very polite, even escorted us to our room the first day which made us feel extra special. This hotel was chosen for a Poirot episode with David Suchet: “Jewelry Heist at the Grand Metropolitan” - and didn’t disappoint:)

Few minors but would definitely stay again.
Great staff, very friendly and engaging. Stunning communal areas but rooms were a little basic (very comfortable however). Cheap looking curtain rails, slightly tired and grubby balcony furniture, and a few dirty marks on the bathroom wall. Nothing major but takes a very very small shine off the ‘luxury hotel’ tag. Would certainly stay again however.

Breakfast not good for 5 star hotel more like 2
Only thing that let it down was the breakfast on Saturday morning . Like I ordered full breakfast and beans were over cooked the bacon was like cardboard and loads of oil dirty on the plate .and on Sunday you walk in to smoke from the chef cooking in the breakfast area .which wasn't nice
