We booked adjoining family rooms. The rooms were big, nice, and clean, but we keep having problem with the toilet not flushing properly. The front desk staff weren't as warm and friendly as another hotel that were a hop and skip away on the same street. The free breakfast was bland and had limited choices.

Room was obviously not cleaned. Room smelled of raw sewage and dead bugs were found in the entire unit. The shower was also broken. When we brought this to their attention, they did not seem to care much , but tried to fix the shower. We finally asked for another room. The next room offered no sea view, the walls were paper thin and you can hear your neighbor use the bathroom literally. The shower in this unit floods the entire bathroom floor and when we mentioned the flooding aspect we were told it is normal. Oh and we were supposed to have a non smoking room , but everything smelled like cigarettes. We actually left a day early because of our experience here. I would never stay in this place ever again it was absolutely awful. This is not a 4 star hotel, not even close. We have been in Danang for over 2 months and this is BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE HAD IN VIETNAM. Stay somewhere else.

We had an excellent experience at the Eden Hotel, thanks to the very helpful and friendly staff. Ms. Thao, the supervisor at the breakfast restaurant, was very accommodating and friendly. She offered a lot of helpful information for our time in Da Nang and surrounding area. Great job!

Our stay at Eden started good with a room upgrade, but it turned out the room had some plumbing issues. It reaked with sewage, so bad that when coming back from dinner we asked to change rooms. Hotel manager claimed there weren't other rooms available (although lots were availble online) and that we could maybe change in the morning... after insiting she join us up to the room to smell for herself, she immediately turned in the room and said we could change rooms. The new room was a family room and fine, but the walls and doors were so thin that EVERYTHING happening in neighboring rooms and the hallway was heard loudly. With so much noise, we barely got any sleep during our stay. The breakfast buffet was horrible with oily, raw fried eggs and little to choose from for Western food. Location is good along the beach and not far from a good beach bar (Library), and restaurants. But I would definately not recommend this hotel. Staff was friendly and greeting. But the hotel managers need to follow up the satisfaction of their guests and not lie. Hotel needs to fix plumbing and smell, and invest in thicker doors... for now, choose another hotel.

Family trip, we got rooms with a common door on the 6th floor. The rooms are great, very clean, luxurious and luxurious showers, partial seaside view, great lobby, very impressive breakfast (for those who love Asian food) The staff is amazing and helps with everything.

Terrible breakfast options and over priced in-house transportation. Stayed 6 days but needed to change rooms, very inconvenient. Hallways crazy loud. The fire alarm was a nice added attraction.

Pay a little more and stay at the big name 5 stars. The location was ideal but it’s not a 5 star. Eden seemed more like a 3 star. We had the stand up bathroom and water got everywhere and that was annoying. Especially because there was hardly any counter space and not even one hook to hang our clothes or towel. The rack to hang the towels also got wet easily. Upon check in, the girl at the front desk told us we had to pay an extra person charge and lucky for us, we still had the emailed receipt from Expedia that we already paid for that when we booked. The entire hotel didn’t feel Like a 5 star. We had to hunt down workers to get pool towels or beach towels. There was always slippery puddles of water everywhere around hotel halls and elevators because of the lack of pool towels. Our bathroom door had vomit that wasn’t thoroughly cleaned off from the handle to the bottom of the door. When we went down to exchange money, the rate was 2.26 while it was 2.31 at the airport. We did anyways. The next day we needed to exchange some more and the clerk told us 2.1 and we said it was 2.26 yesterday. He conceded that 2.26 was for hotel guests only and gave 2.26 (which was still low). He didn’t even give us a receipt. It just feels like shady business. They gave us 2 food vouchers to try their Japanese restaurant (good service and decent food) but the servers said it was for lunch only. They didn’t tell us at front desk. The next day they said it’s good for dinner so come back. Hmm.

I liked the view from and size of our room. I also liked the location of the hotel next to the beach and near several good restaurants. However, the bed was uncomfortable. We could not adjust the AC in our room, so it was either stuffy and hot or really cold. The bathroom had no shower curtain, so it would get all wet in there whenever we would bathe. Housekeeping gave us soiled bath towels on one occasion. We were missing a towel on another. Housekeeping entered our room abruptly several times, once rather early in the morning when we were still in bed! The floors in the halls and common areas are made of stone and carry sounds, so it was very loud in the morning what with all the people shouting — so very hard to sleep in! Also, the street below was noisy with lots of traffic. There was this really annoying guy that kept driving around the block until the wee hours of the morning blasting a prerecorded loop of himself shouting a food item he was selling, over and over again. It started to drive me crazy by the end of our stay. Other guests were rude, pushy and made our stay very unpleasant. They would let their children run about the breakfast area, knocking into things, and they would push themselves onto the elevator before letting others get out. There were many Chinese staying there who lacked basic etiquette and manners. I was looking forward to using the advertised rooftop “skybar” but it was... not there? WiFi was slow and our TV froze and stopped working.
