Really lovely hotel in a great location! The staff were incredibly friendly, offering to take our bags to the room and helping with any questions. We stayed in room 4, which had fantastic aircon (needed in the heatwave!), a really comfy bed and a lot of room to move around. It was very clean. It's a great location to Covent Garden for any theatre trips, but also not too far from Soho for the great restaurants and bars, and also Holborn Tube Station for trips further away. We wouldn't hesitate to book again if staying in that area.

Not what we expected. Hotel room was cramped and worn out. Air conditioning was almost useless and the bed was hard. Property needs major face lift. Some staff was OK but manager seemed disengaged and tired of tourists. Avoid this hotel if you can. Only upside was the location.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location is great but also very quiet. It is an older property with steep staircases which may not suit everyone. The shower was quite underpowered and the air conditioning is very noisy, but for one night neither were a big problem.

Room standard and cleanliness was exceptional - the only minor negative was that the shower pressure was quite weak. Apart from that, the staff were polite and helpful, particularly when prior to our stay i realized that I had made a mistake with the booking date (due to a late theatre ticket change). I explained my mistake to the hotel directly, and they immediately just moved the stay back 1 day without any issue, which was really appreciated. Perfect location for Theatreland/West End, plenty of bars and restaurants. We will book again for sure!
