The property is a mixture of residential and short term rentals. Got the impression that the residents were not so keen on sharing the facilities.
Pool and spa lovely, views amazing.
The room was sparsely furnished, I had to move the floor lamp to the bedroom as there was no bedside lamp, but other main facilities were ok and a washing machine and dryer was a bonus with kids.
Smell in apartment gross, mould, stale water smell and toilet needed a really good clean. Not sure when apartment was last used or cleaned.
No house keeping at all ( Covid apparently ) we requested someone look at the smell and mould in the bathroom, they did clean it but it made no difference. Reception were happy to provide fresh towels on request.
Area close to cultural quarter and theatres, dining and a bar or two. Need an Uber into CBD especially if you have children.
Coffee shop on corner, small convenience shop under building.
We were a party with two rooms. I requested to be on the same floor if possible. We ended up 6 floors apart. The fob system for the lifts meant that we couldn’t travel between floors. If we wanted to go to the other room, we had to meet on the ground and escort each other, not easy with kids.
The reception is only open office hours so make sure you catch them if you need anything.
Not very expensive so I suppose it wasn’t bad. Saw a place around the corner I’d stay in next time. Needs a good clean but otherwise fine.
