We got there at 10:30am and front desk said they didn't have any rooms except upgrades. We expected that we were too earlier and told them we would wait. We asked them every hour if a room was available and each time they said "no". Then at 1:30pm we asked another person and she said she can give us an upgraded room with no addition charge. So why did they want to up charge us at first and then gave us the upgraded room without an extra fee? We went to breakfast for 1 1/2 hours and the room attendant was no where to be seen. When we got back around 4:30pm, the room was cleaned, however, the attendant was still cleaning other rooms. It no wonder it take them so long to have rooms available since they don't start cleaning until late! We went into the cleaned room and there was no tissue paper nor an extra roll of toilet paper. We had to go into the hallway and ask for these items. At the time of checkout, we informed the front desk for the 2nd time that one of us had a giant bruise on one arm from the elevator door slamming on us. We showed them the bruise and all they did was say "Sorry, but it could be worse"?? We asked them if they would offer the breakfast as complimentary as a good gesture and they said "No".

Poor 2.0
Hot Stuffy Rooms, Cheaply Built
1. The AC does not ever go below 21.5C (71F), even if the temperature outside is cooler than that! This may be OK for some, but for those who like it colder to sleep, it will be a problem. I tried three different rooms. 2. The doors to the rooms do no have soft-close hardware so they SLAM shut every time someone leaves and enters a room and the wall/bed shakes. You can imagine how this affects one's sleep quality. The walls were also extremely thin. One day I heard my neighbors having intercourse and the entire wall and bed (mine) was shaking as it was occurring! 3. The 51 metro train that connects to the city discontinued service over the weekend so it was not so easy to get into the city on Saturday/Sunday. I don't know how frequent this discontinuation occurs, but there is absolutely nothing in the area to do/eat/drink/etc except for the hotel. 4. The check-in was a stress, with long lines of people waiting and people fighting over "who was next". The man at reception argued with me when I told him the first room given had no working AC, even though he had not checked the room himself to know. I found that really unprofessional. 5. The satellite TV channels had "no signal" for the five days I stayed at this hotel, except for some news channels and BBC channels with nothing interesting on. 6. Completely ruined my trip to Amsterdam. Would never stay here again. It was the worst hotel I've stayed at on a multi-month trip around Europe.

There is no sauna
The reason I chose this hotel and paid more is that they advertised that they have a sauna. They don't have a sauna yet. They are working on it will open sometime in the future. it's false advertising, and i would rather get my money back and move to another hotel.

Very Good 8.0
Brand new hotel, very neat and clean, super comfortable beds of 210cm, great amenities in room such as coffee machine, big screen TV, nice bathroom facilities. Friendly service and a nice breakfast buffet makes it an outstanding value for money place to stay, if you don’t mind to be 20 minutes from downtown
