I wasn't sure about the property because the pictures were limited, but it was absolutely perfect for a quick stop over. The lady (owner?) was very nice, the room was clean, and everything was perfect for such a small area. Pretty impressive that everything was there that we needed. In sum, I was pleasantly surprised with this place, and I would stay again.

This property is a hidden gem. I stayed here for 2 nights. I rented the studio room. It was a good size, nice little kitchen with cooking oil and hot chocolate, perfect for making breakfast and packed lunches. I liked it so much I booked in for 1 more night on my return trip to Reykjavik.

My family needed a place close to Jokulsarlon Glacier lagoon. We drove from Reykjavik, making stops along the way to see the sights. We had a tour planned in the am. When we arrived at laekjarhus, we greeted at the main house and directed to our room. Parking outside the door, the room was nice and fit my family of 4 comfortably. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. My only issue was not being used to how to operate a European shower, but i chalk that up to being a dumb American. I wish we had more time to explore the farm and see the animals. Also, i am city folk, so this was way far from stores . Overall, i would recommend this place.
