I randomly chose The Garrandarragh Inn for a two night stay away and I fell in love with the building through online photos and it didn’t disappoint when we arrived. All the staff were so welcoming, and so helpful and friendly. I loved the bar with old fireplace and to sit by the warm fire and to listen to the banter between the staff and locals. I hope that it never loses its locals. Always a great sign of a place to see locals frequenting for a pint, a chat and even some food. The bedrooms, newly refurbished, to an excellent standard, beautifully decorated, underfloor heating in en suite. Tea making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, wifi, A quiet room. Loved the old-world charm of the restaurant with its high ceilings, good wholesome food, breakfast and dinner, large portions, could have done with a half portion but still managed to eat it all and dessert. We had dinner on both evenings, once in the restaurant and the other night by the warmth and comfort of the fire on a very cold day. On-site parking. A great location for sightseeing, A memorable stay. Look forward to returning here.
