2/10 Poor

Made a booking with wrong dates, and informed them to change the date or cancel the booking within 24 hours. They refused to make any change or refund. Even the COVID-19 thing can’t make them to carry out any solution for my wrong booking. Be careful to book with them, as them are super hard to negotiate anything with. Anyway, horrible customer service

10/10 Exceptional

Our accommodation at 1 Suite Firenze was lovely and comfortably appointed. Although we received minimal beverage service, everything else about our room was top notch. The location was perfect for walking to all of the sights of Florence as well as the train station so as to take day trips to and from nearby cities. We appreciated the kindness of the staff as well.

Good location and recently renovated room
The location of this hotel is about a 10 min walk from the Florence train station through a narrow street towards the river. Getting to the Florence historic center and Uffizi Gallery also is about a 15 min walk to the east. So it is quite convenient. The hotel is on the second floor (or third floor in the US) of a building. There is a small elevator that can only fit a person and a single piece of luggage, so it took us two trips to move our stuff up. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. We booked the room with the shower stall instead of the bathtub as we prefer that, but the room size is a bit smaller and yet still quite spacious. The bathroom is nicely decorated with a modern mirror that has led lights around. Considering the location and the room condition, we are happy that we chose this hotel.

8/10 Very Good

Let me start by writing that I WOULD recommend & stay again, at hotel...NOW that I know what to expect. Hotel is not easy to find. It seems building may have been offices. The only way to know hotel is there is by a name plate among other offices. There is no sign above door. You are buzzed in. I walked up stairs, not knowing what floor to go to. Being that building is old, the elevator is micro size. My boyfriend had to make 2 trips to get bags up. There is no sign on door once on floor either. We are given a key to main door to building to access as needed & code to access hotel along with a key card for room. There are 6 rooms, which I suspect were once offices, in hotel. The room was large & clean which was a plus to spread out. There is a wine chiller fridge, used as a mini fridge. Room had high ceilings, which was lovely, but hard to cool room; thermostat said it was 60 degrees, but clearly was not. Bathroom was very clean & had a narrow tub with jets; no shower head, had to use spray nozzle to wash hair. The bed is a memory foam (think tempurpedic) which if your thing is great. For 2 adults for a week, there were 4 hangers; there is not dresser to put folded clothes away (socks, underwear, etc). There is a small safe, if needed & a small glass desk, 2 glass side tables that serve as nightstands, along with furniture to hang clothes & put shoes (think mud room). There is also a daybed. The location is very good & close to main attractions.

Boutique hotel with great rooms
I was really surprised by the size of the rooms. The facilities were really good inside the room. There was no shower except for an attachment in the bath which you had to kneel down to wash properly. The bash had bubble jets so that was good. The bed was insanely comfortable.

Great location in Florence
Overall a great place to stay. Very convenient. Steps from the Arno and ponte Vespucci. This is a brand new boutique hotel (6 rooms) nicely appointed in a small building. It has a small elevator which takes you to the hotel. Huge rooms, lovely bathrooms designed by an architect who is not very practical. Difficult to take a shower as there is no curtain. Also, don’t try the jacuzzi before asking the lovely manager Sarah. Ours suddenly emptied out all over the floor. These are annoying details but the overall experience was very good. Eva
