Great staff, hotel needs better procedures
There were some logistical issues that affected our stay. We tried to check in after 4, but our room wasn’t ready. Computers were down, and it was difficult for the desk to know which rooms were done. There was no contingency plan in place. Thankfully, Ayesha from housekeeping went upstairs with us to make sure our room was ready.
The next day there was no coffee in the dining area because of a lack of filters. Because the hotel has in room coffee, there should have been a workaround for this. Again, the dining attendant, whose name I unfortunately didn’t get, went into the kitchen area and came out with a cup of coffee that she cobbled together somehow. I hadn’t asked her to do that so I appreciated her initiative.
The staff was friendly and great. I just wish the hotel had better procedures to deal with problems that inevitably arise.
