Very Good 8.0
We took the bunkbed room which was fine except that it has no closet and neither does the king room. They just have like a copper pole that looks like a water pipe hanging from the ceiling with a tiny area to hang your clothes and then there’s a refrigerator below it so you can’t hang anything like a dress. It’s a fabulous location and a nice hotel but frankly they should ditch the desk in the room and put in a small closet.

Great stay, highly recommend the Palihotel
My wife and I stay in the city 3 or 4 times a year and over the years we have had many favorites that have come and gone for us, Edgewater, Alexis, Sorento, Fairmont, and The Inn at the Market. Last time we tried the new Thompson which we liked but a little sterile feeling so we thought we would try the Palihotel this trip. The location is perfect, we like to have dinner at Matt's and breakfast at the Crumpet shop both are right across the street. Palihotel is very quirky and interesting. The staff were perfectly helpful without seeming to try too hard. We had an excellent lunch at the Hart and the Hunter in the lobby. We both agreed that this will be our go to in the city from now on! I Highly recommend staying here. We really like the in room iPad loaded with information, restaurant guides, etc. The bed was fantastic and the room was large and had a fun interesting layout. We loved the retro refrigerator and coffee station. The noise is typical of the city which doesn't bother us at all if I stay in Seattle and don't hear garbage pickup and homeless or drunks yelling at each other in the middle of the night I feel like I am at home. Pali furnishes all guests with ear plugs which are in the bathroom and has black out shades so if you actually want a dark quit night you can get it here for sure.

Very cool boutique hotel
We really were impressed by the coolness of this hotel. It was located very close to great restaurants and things to do. The attached restaurant was fabulous too. The biggest downfall was the noisiness of the streets outside. Hard to sleep with all the goings on outside which was too bad. The expensive valet parking was a bummer but we found street parking close by. Other than that we loved it.
