Housekeeper cut corners
Front desk staff was very nice. Overall the hotel was clean and in good shape. Unfortunately it seemed the housekeeper who cleaned our room directly before our arrival cut corners. There was a dirty towel behind the door & an empty (melted) bag of ice in the fridge. Vacuuming was not as thorough as it could be. It seemed this was not a long running issue as in general the hotel was quite clean.

Smoke detector kept chirping
Smoke detector kept beeping and keeping us up. Had to go down to front desk at 1:00AM to get a new battery. Put battery in and went back to sleep. Started chirping 10 minutes later and woke everyone up again. Took smoke detector out and brought it to the front desk and left it there. Had to be up 6 hours later for an 18 hour straight drive. Was very tired next day. Not the best hotel experience. Also didn’t get the 10% discount applied by booking on my mobile device.
