Better than anticipated. Will be back in 3 weeks
The place got better since 6 months when it first opened. Pods are spacious and clean. Check in was easy but not sure why they need to take photos of our IDs and how safely it will be stored? Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. But overall, I am satisfied with the place and will be back soon. Location is awesome and 30 seconds walk to the metro. Totally recommend.

Please vacuum the bed pods after each use!
This is a great hostel option with privacy. Yes it's a shared room but you get privacy in the pod. Little privacy in men's shower bathroom. Service was hit or miss. It took nearly a half-hour for staff to get my door key working properly. My one suggestion is that the cleaning of the beds needs to include more than just changing the sheets each time. I found hair & boogers around the bed. They need to vacuum the bed pods after each use, seriously.

Good but needs some improvement
Thank you for setting the A/C to a low temperature for those of us who get hot while sleeping. The sleeping pods come with a duvet/comforter which is too hot in the summer, they need to have optional top sheets available. Also the pod ventilation fans need to be secured with better quality duct tape so they do not become detached. While the rooms do not have storage lockers it would be better to have somewhere (shelves, cubbies, hooks) to place shoes, hang coats, and storage large luggage. It isn't comfortable to place all those things in the pod. The breakfast options are disappointing, could be improved by adding more fruits, protein, and juice(s).

Gave away my the pod they assigned me?
This place is an absolute disaster. Staff are not there when they should be, and when they are there they have no clue. They gave away my pod when I stayed out late, and I had to crash on a couch in the common area. Complete disaster.

Unique Hostel Experience
It was first time staying in a hostel that has pods and it was very unique experience. I was able to have hostel experience but have semi privacy and not have to stare at someone when I sleep. The staff was enjoyable and Tom and Leo were the nicest people and helped a lot with my stay in DC.
