Not worth it
The room wasn't clean. Unhelpful staff. Check in and check out took very long. I booked a sea view room what I was given is a construction site view! I've ordered breakfast and they brought the wrong order when i called to complain they told me to wait for 45mins to prepare new order for me ! I called the room service to pickup the food tray from tge room door that was at 10:30AM , when I came back from a long day at 12:30 AM almost half a day out the food try still in my room door has not been picked. The TV was not working I called them twice to fix! The roof floor has many cracks looks like a 2 star hotel

Could be better....
The welcome by Emmanuel was fantastic, Julia at reception was very dry and everything was a bit hard to get from her. The room was dusty, balcony had cigarets buds, bed was done everyday but the floor never cleaned from 1st day.... bathroom had to request towels as not replaced, neither the toiletries and toilet paper. The girls from the pool service not friendly, and served drink without glasses, food without cutlery and took ages to come back and when came back had an horrible face. Coming back at night-after Emmanuel or gabriel gone home, concierge not bothered to help us out. As we where leaving nobody bothered to help to get taxi or put our case in the taxi. Not impressed! Extended our stay in Dubai but stayed in a different hotel. Expected more from this hotel as it is in the Palm and looked good....but unfortunately bad experience for me and my son.

Good stay
Very good accommodation. Good price and a neat location. Staff expecially at reception could be more welcomeing. Were bit monotonic and on a slightly rude side. Otherwise everything was nice.

6 Days at Royal Central
This is fairly new hotel and it very nicely decorated. The rooms are reasonably sized. We had a small one bed suite and had acres of space - with 2 balconies. The pool area is very ok - but they could possibly have designed it better - although the beach is 5 steps down from the pool. There are ample sun beds on the beach. If you like a pool side sun bed, there aren't so many. Lots reserved quite early in the morning but we got over that - and realistically there are plenty to go around. Experienced some room service issues where we weren't cleaned until very late in the afternoon and had to ask two days out of 6. When they did clean, they were very efficient - and also quite apologetic. The main restaurant was very good. We aren't fussy eaters and we found plenty to eat each time we visited - and of a really good standard. Most definitely can't fault that. Drinks were expensive but you probably expect that for a 5 star hotel (but bear in mind that 5 stars is Dubai is at least 2 from the top). But £20 for a beer and wine at the pool bar seemed a little steep. The location is stunning - right on the beach but you are a bit away from any amenities apart from other hotels. Could be a new shopping centre opening up a short walk away which might assist - otherwise a 15 minute taxi ride to get off The Palm. If you want some exercise, the boardwalk is ideal and the gym has great views of The Burj
