Awesome!!!
Amazing stay (very clean and cozy) and awesome staff who treated us like family. In fact, without even asking the staff surprised my husband with room decorations and a cake for his birthday making his day even more special. The concierge, Yanetxy made great recommendations for excursions and arranged all dinners and transportations during our stay in Havana. 5 star accommodations … Will definitely be back.

We visited Havana from the US for 3 days. It was our first trip to the country. The staff at El Candil took care of us from start to finish. We almost don't want to write this review because we want to keep this jewel all to ourselves 🙂 Property: Is a beautiful, well maintained six-room hotel across three floors with a beautiful terrace and rooftop bar and pool. Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Towels and basic toiletries provided with maid service daily. Excursions: There are three primary concierges - all fantastic! They arranged everything! Airport transfers, antique car tour, dinner reservations at amazing restaurants (Atelier is a must try!), day trip to Varadero, and private dinner at hotel. Final thoughts: Take a chance on Havana, and if you do, stay at El Candil. You will not be disappointed! We plan to come back just for this property and the amazing staff!
