Adorable, clean, stylish, new small boutique hotel
This boutique (emphasis on boutique) is adorable and VERY tiny. It is VERY close to Times Square. Which could be a bad thing if you don't like touristy. But it is quiet and very clean inside so you feel removed. PRO: It's so cute, totally renovated, nicely decorated, modern, they did a great job. Smells fresh and new and clean. People are SUPER nice and professional. In the center of everything and close to everything midtown. Super convenient location. CONS: it's TINY. Good for small people or people that don't have a lot of stuff or don't mind small everything. But the nice decor and style and cleanliness make up for it. Not good if you have a lot of stuff and are large people that need space. Shower temperature was the only thing that was a bit fussy lukewarm to really hot. Other than that, excellent stay.

Good 6.0
Stylish yet felt empty and barren
I reserved a deluxe room and when I opened the door, several chairs and huge bags of laundry were piled in the room for storage. They removed the items after I informed them but it just felt like an empty room. I imagine that if the room was fresh it would have a flower or magazine on the table. The hotel offered nothing to compensate for the less than pleasant lack of room prep. There was no closet. The bathroom was cute. My friend is a professional photographer, so he has an impressive camera and lens. We took a few photos in the lobby for about ten minutes. We overheard a female manager suspiciously asking the others if we were guests of the hotel. Otherwise, the staff- like the doorman and concierge- were very nice and helpful. I probably won't stay there again. The elevator was so slow, we usually took the stairs.
