In a word. Excellent!
When we arrived we were warmly greeted and taken up to the spacious, clean and very well equipped room. It was far better than we had thought it would be. Spacious shower, something that hasn't been so common on our trip, fresh clean and crisp bedding on a soft yet supportive mattress. We ate both nights of our stay and all I can say is the food is excellent and the cost of food and drink reasonable, our deal came with free breakfast which was also very good. It would be remiss of me not to mention the excellent service and pleasant demeanor by the staff, all of whom made us feel very welcome If your coming to Chipping Norton and the fox has availability, I would encourage anyone to stay there. A fantastic place

This is by far one of the nicer hotels I have stayed in. You immediately feel welcome, the staff are friendly, the food is excellent and the rooms are perfect, even had complimentary gifts. Will definitely be back. Top marks, loved it.

Lovely staff but unfortunately just a very sub-par refit of a handful of rooms. Tiny beds that were also lumpy, poor pillows, and as many others have commented dirty carpets throughout.

Splendid 🤗
Beautiful room in a beautiful building in a beautiful (if a little weird) town. The girl who checked me in and served me at the bar was an absolute little bundle of efficiency and joy. Lovely 😊 A delicious complimentary bottle of Hook Norton ale AND a wee bottle of brandy just added to the sheer loveliness of this place. The shower was great, the bath was hot and deep. Breakfast was fabulous. If l could afford it, l’d live here. Thankyou The Fantastic Fox 🤗
