I disliked that the room only because it wasn’t what I booked. The one I booked wasn’t available due to a broken item in the bathroom. We were supposed to receive a sea view balcony room. The host didn’t tell us when we dropped our luggage and only told us later after a long day in Paestum and train ride back to Salerno and gave us a room with balcony but courtyard view. This felt like a bait and switch. No refund or discount was offered and we asked and he said no as well but he did bring us extra coffee pods when we asked about that which was sweet. He also stored our luggage which was nice. The room had some disco style lighting. The room was updated though. The bed was good the shower was nice. The location was excellent for train and ferry. The street outside was amazing for shopping and just walking down. The host gave lots of recommendations which was nice. All in all one of the more interesting places I stayed in Italy.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at B & B Chérie! We had one night on our trip to Salerno that wasn’t accounted for, so we had to book a hotel last-minute to stay at. Chérie is a 3 minute walk from the train station and is on a super cool street with plenty to do. The view from the balcony is amazing and the room was very updated and clean with all amenities that you could need. Alfonso was so kind and accessible! Make sure to have WhatsApp before you visit so that you’re able to get in touch with him before your stay. He made sure we had everything we needed when we arrived, and he also prepared an absolutely wonderful breakfast the following morning. He took just as good care of us as if we were staying a whole week, which really meant a lot to my husband and I! Literally the ONLY downside to our stay was that we couldn’t stay longer. Our stay was perfect, and I’d book it again for sure!!

Loved the location! A very short walk from the station with bags: it’s in a pedestrian precinct and really central, above a department store in a street of shops - cafes, clothes, bars, so everything is close to hand. Lovely waterfront a block away, and old town feel further along the street. Thoroughly recommend 👍

Great location and price
It was my first time in Salerno for work and booked at the last minute. The owners are very nice and welcoming and gave me suggestions where to have dinner. The locations is great as it is a quiet pedestrian area few minutes (less than 5) walking from the station in the heart of Salerno. Highly recommended for both business and leisure (solo traveller or couples)

Great communication with the host. Fantastic location!!! It’s right in the middle of many restaurants and shopping. But it’s also 4 blocks to the ferry port and 2 block to the train. Clean and comfortable! Best nights sleep we had while in Italy! Grazie Mille!

Lovely new rooms with contemporary decor, immaculately clean, quiet and secure. Very strong water pressure making for a great showering experience. There was nothing the host would not do to help ensure a smooth and relaxing break. Only a couple of minutes walk from the central train station in Salerno and right in the heart of the city. Great value for money.
