We were greeted by skrumpa and from there on we had a warm full visit with the owners. They were very friendly and welcoming to their lovely property. Two of our guests were vegetarian and she went out of her way to make them a scrumptious meal as well as lamb and salmon for the rest of us

A hotel that made our trip to Iceland complete!
We booked our stay at the 360 Degree Hotel at almost the last minute, but I am so glad we did! It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Iceland, in part because it was so comfortable and beautiful and in part because the staff (I assume they are a husband and wife) were so utterly charming and helpful. The thing that really made our stay was the thoughtful and helpful suggestions for sightseeing from the host. He booked a horseback tour for us and even made a customized tour for us to fill the morning. It was absolutely fantastic and we saw so many things we might have otherwise missed! The space is beautiful, despite on-going construction and a few unfinished bits. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, with comfortable bed linens and lovely big windows with sliding doors out to a little patio. When it's completely finished, it will definitely belong on the list of destination hotels in Iceland. We had a wonderful breakfast with a delightful crepe-like pancakes that I could eat every day for the rest of my life, given the chance, in addition to the usual spread of Scandinavian morning delights (bread, cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes, skyr, etc).

Very Good 8.0
Newly opened hotel, great potential
The facility is well designed and architecturally smart. Way finding signs were not yet installed so keeping going, you will find it. Some smaller items will be worked out as they are in their first month. The structure is cement with not many sound deadening materials I think will need to be addressed. The chef, staff, owner, and hotel dog seem very committed to making their guests happy. The food was excellent. We would have appreciated if the wait staff would have informed us that is was a tasting menu and the price. The wine pairing was expectedly an extra cost but again should have known the price. I would go back

Poor 2.0
Leftovers, bottle 7% wine and 1 beer = 220 Euro
I had researched the hotel and particularly the feedback online about the quality of food served in the restaurant and looked at the photos of some of the food served: I was impressed! When we arrived at your hotel, the owner manager made us feel very welcome which we really appreciated. He was a nice man.The room was great, clean modern and we felt relaxed after a long day. We were informed the Chef was absent and had gone across the mountain and therefore the only option for food was some leftovers to heat up. I was very surprised by this and at first thought it was a joke! We agreed as it was 8pm and tired from a lot of travelling and didn’t want to make another long drive. The host told us during the meal he had served some leftover frozen food that he had defrosted. This consisted of a carrot soup, lamb stew which was very tough and gristly and some very bland supermarket ice-cream, there was no real desert or coffee. This meal was not at all what we were expecting, especially as it was a frozen leftovers, and if we had known, we would have booked an alternative hotel. We were charged over 200 Euro for the dinner of leftovers and a bottle of wine (7%) and a beer- I was amazed. We felt ripped off. We had eaten at many Michelin restaurants and & had such a bill. Iceland is expensive, we had an amazing meal at the Blue Lagoon Lava restaurant. The hotel did refund the food bill when I complained, but did try to insult me first.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel recently and we simply fell in love with it. From the interior to the lovely owners. We had dinner twice and it was delicious. We cannot fault this hotel in any way except we want to return very soon. Can only highly recommend.
