The Pantheon Iconic Rome Hotel, Autograph Collection, Rome

Location was great and hotel spectacular. Great room space with all modern amenities. And staff very friendly and helpful which made our trip experience even better.

This was a perfect hotel for us. We are able to walk to all of the sights although it was difficult due to the extreme heat whilst we were in Rome. The hotel itself was perfect. We had a large room with a very beautiful bathroom (tub/shower). The food on the rooftop patio was fantastic and the views from there were even better. This would be my first choice if I ever come back to Rome.

It was wonderful except for the room keys and too few desk staff. Keys cut off at 11 AM even if you have a late check out. The front desk tried, but the hotel was not able to successfully provide us keys that worked during the extensions. Ours actually cut off even earlier both times, just after 10 AM. We actually experienced this twice because we extended our entire stay a whole day and then had a late check out on our final day. Because the power in your room needs the key, you may spend your gap time in the dark if you can find somebody to let you in to your room. But otherwise, it really was a fabulous hotel. The front desk service was agonizingly slow but good. It was refreshing to be able to use an American Express at the bar and restaurant. The in-room dining was excellent and timely. The turndown service was also good, but no do not disturb sign(?). The location was truly amazing. The Pantheon is around the corner, viewable from the roof top dining. There is a taxi bank next to the Pantheon, so getting a taxi was easy. The Forum and the Colosseum are a 20 minute walk away. You are even closer to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. If you are ambitious, you can even walk to the Termini train station. It is about a mile and a half away. Restaurants and ATM very close. Less than five minute walk. Definitely recommend and would stay here again though would count on being out of my room by 11 AM. Should you go to the front desk, prepare to wait 20 minutes or more.
