2/10 Poor

The place probably has not been remodeled since 1960. A portable A/C took up floor space in this tiny apartment and it was very noisy. It vented through dryer duct out the window. They used a thin piece of plastic to cover the six inch gap between the window and the wall that was barely taped in place. This let all the big city noise in. The worst nights sleep ever! Drunks sleeping on the side walks. Both faucets were ready to fall apart.

The hotel is a great area. Great night life, accessible to a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment close by. I enjoyed most of my stay except the only way to access my room from downstairs is through an elevator. Which broke t de own for almost an hour, Friday night at 7pm. I was returning from being out all day and wanting to shower and head out. Staff eventually walked me up the stairs and helped me access my room, but were unwilling to lend me a key to continue to access the stairs. So I had no way of coming and going until the elevator was eventually fixed. Which severally impacted my trip.

shower did not drain Deeded to run water in sink to loose rust water. Street noise was unbelievably loud all night long. Strange smells permeated the hallways and elevators.

8/10 Very Good

Everything about the property was great except there was an awful smell in the hallway that only got worse during the duration of my stay. I had to hold my breathe getting out of the elevator on the way to my room each time and when leaving my room. It got so bad at the end that the smell started to seep into the bathroom in my room and the area by the door. I spoke with a resident who stayed there and they said they’ve been trying to find out the reason for the smell for weeks. It really needs to be addressed as it made me nauseous at times and honestly affected my view of the cleanliness of the place. Everything else was great however.

6/10 Good

The hotel is very clean, but was a bit noisy earl with construction across the street a few mornings. The staff is lovely, the building pleasant, but the kitchen was not equipped well enough. No can opener, plastic cooking utensils, two non stick pots without lids, no large bowl or cutting board. Mini fridge too tiny. We were there a week and could not entertain even two family members we traveled cross country to visit, enjoy time there. Only 2each cups, plates, spoon, forks, and glasses.
