Flatiron Budapest Apartments, Budapest

I chose the Deluxe unit, and I couldn't believe my luck with this apartment! When walking in, I was gobsmacked at the sheer size of the place. Couple that with the SUPER central and convenient location literally across the street from the Metro station, and just about as central as one can get in the city- I was thrilled. What I got for the money I paid was shockingly good. The washer/dryer combo unit was not mentioned in the listing, and was a happy surprise. Pros: Great, fully-stocked kitchen, full-size refrigerator, washer/dryer, decent internet, location, security, proximity to almost everything, convenience store on ground floor of building, powerful AC. Cons: The bathroom could have been a little better cleaned (I dried some water on the floor with one of the towels, and it came up pretty dirty), and all of the IKEA stuff in the apartment still has the stickers on it, which was a little corny. Also, there were only 2 TINY pillows for the large bed, and none for anyone who might potentially sleep on the massive sofas. Sits on a busy road, and the traffic can be somewhat loud in the mornings, but didn't bother me. All in all, loved it and plan to book hopefully the same unit for a week right after New Year's. Book with confidence, you'll love it!

location of the apartment is excellent and central to all attraction. Easy to get from airport by bus. The apartment is very spacious. sufficient cooking utilities. The bathroom was smelly and I guess it was from the sewage. We have to close the door of the bathroom. Curtains in the bedroom was not light block and pillows were small and low. Free toiletries were just sachets of shower gel. So be prepared. Since there were only limited front desk service 10am-6pm, make sure to ask for instructions of check in if you arrive after 6pm. we had an unpleasant experience that there were no water supply on the 2nd night from 11pm to 11am the following morning. No shower on the night. We phoned to the reception telephone number and they said it was out of their control and could not do anything. We spent the night with sticky dirty body and thirties. No compensation for the inconvenience. No more explanation until asked. We were told the following morning that it was due to repair work and took longer time than expected. If it was scheduled work, the room guests should have been warned before hand. It was disappointing.
