Perfect for Pilgrims
This is a quaint hotel right across the river from the Lourdes sanctuary. You can watch the evening candlelight procession from your windows. The windows are old, floor to ceiling that open like French doors with outside shutters that you can close if you prefer to sleep late. If you like solidly constructed, older buildings, this is the hotel for you. The owner is wonderful, very friendly and concerned with her guests welfare. From the hotel you can walk everywhere from the fortress to the sanctuary and everything in between. No matter where you've wandered to it is always a short walk to get back to the hotel. If you are making a private pilgrimage like we were, your will love the location of the Hotel Sainte Marie.

Lovely hotel with an incredible location! We were right outside the entrance to the sanctuary and fell asleep to the sound of the rushing river. The receptionist was also so kind! Highly recommended!
