6/10 Good

Our room stains and holes on the sheets, we called the front desk to ask for them to be changed. They stated they would come change the linens, when we returned to our room it had not been done. We then called again to ask them to come change the linens. Very frustrating. Would not stay here again.

Old doors and locks
Nice hotel that has been remodeled from an old motel 6. Room was small but the beds were comfortable. Towels and sheets had a funny smell. Our door didn’t shut tight and you really had to push it hard to make sure it would lock. No chain lock available. Made me nervous with a small child and people walking past our windows. Had to keep curtains closed for privacy.

6/10 Good

Interesting concept; but overall odd
SCP (I found out later it stands for Soul Community Planet - holistic hospitality). It is an old hotel that has had a fresh coat of paint. The rooms are a bit rundown. However, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Check-in was a bit awkward. Both of the girls up front spoke very broken English. It was extremely hard to understand what they were saying. I was tired and just wanted to get to my room, but the check-in process was long and drawn out. I felt that the hospitality staff kept drawing my attention to the VERY overpriced snacks. Water bottle was $5.00. I didn’t by snacks. I bought a yogurt parfait for breakfast ($12.00). It was good, but way overpriced. Another gal with very broken English took my order. No smile. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but quirky and odd. I wouldn’t choose to go back.
