Perfect stay
If you get a chance, stay here. I don't have time to write a long review, but basically the place was perfect and I'll try to stay here every time I am in Colorado Springs area.

8/10 Very Good

Hotel staff was great, convenient to freeway and quiet location, the hotel is as advertised an eco-friendly place, however if you are looking for something that is more luxurious then go to the Cheyenne Mountain Resort, otherwise cost and convenience this is the place.

Cool space!
Very cool space in the lobby! Got some good drinks at the bar and just hung out and played pool. It was close to the downtown area also!

Interesting concept and place
This was a clean, older cement block building with excellent air and tv service. The room was spacious and clean but the bed had seen better days with a pronounced dip to one side. The premium coffee for breakfast was excellent but there were few breakfast options to choose from. After a rain many buckets to collect water we’re around the halls and cafeteria however our room was clean and dry. There was great recycling opportunities here along with a huge communal space for gathering.

SCP = Some Crappy Place
Comedy of errors with this hotel. Pool closed (we booked specifically for the pool), room was fine, hotel outside of the lobby was generally not well kept and in fair/poor condition, location was not great, fire alarm went off at 6:45 am on Sunday morning. Also, our door lock stopped working before our checkout and we were delayed waiting for this to be repaired as all our stuff was locked inside. So all in all not a pleasant stay. However, the lobby was nice and they expertly peddle feel good save the planet nonsense. They are just as for profit as the rest.

Meh
The location is kind of sketchy looking. We had a very noisy air conditioner as well. One night one of our lamps did not work. You can hear EVERYTHING, especially cars ripping through with loud engines. But overall, it was doable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Price wasnt too bad. Its better than like a motel 6 or something like that.

BUYER BEWARE! This is a sketchy MOTEL!
I booked this place to celebrate a birthday vacation on the recommendation of Hotels.com and the high quality photos available. The mission aligned with our values and it seemed like a nice place, but we couldn’t have been more disappointed. We arrived in the late evening after the front desk was closed (when they only have armed security for late check in). As it turns out, this is NOT A HOTEL, it is clearly an old motel with a new coat of paint. We get checked in and to our room but the key card doesn’t work. The guard helps us and discovers the door had been unlocked the whole time and has to flashlight patrol the room for us. Red flag. Once we’re settled, we discover the following issues: - Terrible water pressure that prevented us from comfortably showering - Uncomfortable and stiff mattress and a faulty A/C unit that did not work well - Serious concerns of security with the door issues and being up against a busy, loud highway - No phone in the room and just the cell phone number of the one security guard on patrol available overnight After a horrible night’s sleep we chose to check out with a day left on our reservation for no refund. Perhaps most shocking of all, at check out, the front desk person did not ask how our stay was or if we had any issues — it’s as if they knew this was a scam. They also charge a $12 daily RESORT FEE for the gym and pool which we didn’t use, mostly because the overall cleanliness of the rooms told us all we needed to know.
