There was an odor upon walking into the hotel. In the room it wasn't as strong. Only mentioning it because I was sensitive to it and my husband not as much. Room was clean but floor was very slippery from so much cleaning solution that was left behind on it. Felt like you were walking on a slip and slide. No bathroom amenities in the room. I forgot shampoo and asked at the front desk and was given some though. The price was on the cheaper side for the night and we were just looking for somewhere to sleep that night. Last minute decision to go to the races that day and the hotel had a room available. Short drive to Lincoln Speedway and town. Staff was very friendly and nice.

Nice clean comfortable . We stayed at the Motel 6 in Prosepect Heights IL the night before and the staff was rude, bed was uncomfortable no microwave or fridge. Which we had planned on getting some microwave meals but changed our minds and I’m glad we did. This location was much better.

There were German cockroaches in our room. The door was very hard to open and close. The deadbolts did not work. Our room was smoke free, but the entire building smelled like smoke. The back door to the Motel did not close, just stayed ajar.
