Wonderful resort
Beautiful resort, super friendly staff, nice amenities, and great food/drinks. Plenty of areas to relax and soak up the sun, either on the beach or around one of the several large pools. We definitely recommend a Serenity Club room for the additional restaurants/pool it opens access to. Our butler was helpful in arranging a special celebration and dinner reservations. The spa is indulgent and great; I recommend the hydrotherapy session (included for Serenity guests). Note that, for those accustomed to cruising with tons of scheduled activities at all times, the pace is more relaxed and unstructured here. Relatively minor complaints: - There's a fair amount of plastic trash along the beach. It may well wash ashore from elsewhere, but it's unsightly. We did see a tractor driving along the water a couple times, though I think it was more to scrape up all the (voluminous) seaweed. - One day our "please make up room" light was on from 11:30a-5p and no one cleaned up, but the evening turn-down service wasn't far off. - Restaurant bar service was slow on a couple of occasions, forgetting a refill request. - The swim-out pool is lovely, though with loud/boisterous neighbors sometimes finding a quiet place to relax in your room can be difficult.
