The Vintage home was so lovely and near the Erie Canal where we enjoyed a kayak and a walk. It was a very nice stay.

It was a beautiful home. Owners are super friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was how easily you could hear through the walls, but it is a very old home so that is to be expected.

6/10 Good

The home and its surroundings were lovely! However, the host was abrupt and didn't seem too keen on making her guests feel comfortable. From the time we entered the property, we were greeted by the host yelling at us that we were headed for the wrong door. We did not feel welcome---only peppered with rules: How to lock and unlock the front door; not to roll our suitcases on the floors; breakfast is served at 8:00 (not a friendly, "When would you like your breakfast to be served?"). When my husband asked if we could have hot water for our nightly tea, we were told that that would not be possible. All we were asking for was a couple of minutes' use of a microwave. It seemed like the host was more interested in preserving her house than caring for guests. We are sad to say that we will not be back.

The gardens are beautiful and the owners are very nice. Breakfasts were fantastic. The house is very nice and clean. It is a little ways off the beaten path but well worth it. I would highly recommend if you are visiting the upper Seneca Lake area for wine tasting. It is only 25 minutes from Geneva, NY and an easy drive.

The B&B is an historic house and shows all the charm of one. Some bedrooms have their own bathroom, while two bedrooms share a bathroom, accessible from the main hallway. If you’re staying more than two or three days I recommend upgrading to the other rooms. I still very much enjoyed my stay. The proprietor was friendly, an excellent cook and had some great ideas for day trips. Highly recommended.

The host were very nice. The room was good. The only thing I would ask was for a bigger breakfast. The food was great I just need more, but I guess I could have asked:)
