VERY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE than most any other place, as the 5 towns are literally built into cliffs and very tightly put together. So DO NOT EXPECT that same experience as a plushy city hotel. Our room was nice, view awesome, Michael was super friendly and helpful. That said, know that since this place is on the water, it is a bit of a trek from the parking, and these are not hotels with large staffs at all places in Cinque Terre. Hence you will have to carry luggage (or pay a local via a service). Overall fantastic, 5 star experience. Cinque Terre is a must see (in your life) place and Scorci Di Mare is a great place to stay for the experience.

I got terrible experience. parking is 1 kilometer away on the hillside, and when I checked out, they did not provide any service and help! although I called and explained that I had difficulties…… I had to climbed with a big piece of luggage all the way back to the parking lot by myself……

What a great place! Paolo is very knowledgeable about the area and was able to tell us about the history of the area and recommend restaurants and walking trails. We arrived early and our room was already ready. Not sure about the other rooms, but we were in Lo Scalo and there were a fair number of steps. Not a problem for us but might be for someone else. Room was clean, comfortable, and large. The room overlooked the water and we left the window open at night to hear it. There was a bar below us that played soft jazz which was also lovely to hear. Walking distance to lots of cute shops and restaurants.

Michelle and Paolo make your stay special from picking you up at the station to briefing you all you need to know about the Cinque Terre. As a Silver Member I got a local bottle of wine that was amazing. Be prepared for lots of steps, so pack light.
