Everything about the hotel was excellent. Brand new, clean and sparkling. Only staff wasn't adequately trained. I had originally stayed from 6-8 Sept but had to extend because of the airport closure on Osaka. 1) I checked in on the 6 intentionally filling up my birthday(which falls on the 7th) on the form, not expecting anything but just a happy birthday from the staff would had pass the little test, but check in staff didn't noticed, more so when I handover my passport, didn't notice the dates on the passport. Wasn't a major issue at all. 2) as I needed the extension, I approached the staff on the evening on the 7th to see whether there's any vacancies left, for if there's isn't, I could had make alternative arrangements by booking for another hotel online. Staff went into the office to check and came out to inform the rooms are fully booked, and needed to wait to see if there's any cancellation tomorrow. 3) I woke up at 835 next morning and I was feeling lucky, this went down to check for the rooms and as usual went into the office to check. As she came back, she quoted me ¥34000 for two nights, which was double the price I paid for the first two nights, and stated there's no more rooms left and that there's an event going on in the city. 5) I was dumbfounded and I asked her if I asked her if there's anything she could bring down the price, She said No. So I went online to look for a room, and found expedia with two rooms. Only say so much about the man/lady in the office

As expected, a pleasant stay.
Very clean bedroom, bathroom and public areas. Many complimentary amenities, which felt generous. Nice public bath. Typically firm Japanese mattress and only a single feather pillow with no alternative offered, however bedding was of a high quality and appreciated. Air conditioning offered excellent temperature control on a hot day. As expected, small rooms, a little difficult to navigate with two suitcases and no wardrobe. No hooks in bathroom to hang towels to reuse. Small bins for rubbish was a little frustrating. Breakfast offerings were of a good enough quality but only average for western choices. Internet was good. Very good location.

Good stay at the hotel
First, the location of this hotel is great. The hotel is not so far from the nagoya station, about fifteen minutes walk, so you can easily reach other cities by train. There are big shopping centres near the station and local stores near the hotel, there are also a street of restaurants and entertainment near by. But the area of the hotel is quiet at night. You won’t bother of a bad sleep. Second, the facilities are great. Nice breakfast bar that provides both japanese and continental food. Public bath is nice and clean, shower is suited in the room. You can also get beauty advice in the salon on the ground floor. Third, room is new and clean, just a little bit small compared to the same price level. Forth, the staffs are friendly and helpful

Great hotel
The hotel was a short bus ride from the train station and close to some tourist attractions. The decor was very cute and the room spacious. The public bath area was very well maintained and you could estimate how crowded it was through your in-room television to decide when to go. The staff were also very friendly and were able to communicate well in English. Overall, a great hotel, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Nagoya.

Hotel location is good but direction vague
The hotel is located at a good location near to Hilton Nagoya. Hotel should have given guests proper instructions on how to get there by stating that it is just right behind Hilton Hotel after turning in from a Family Mart located round the corner which is located along the main road. Surprisingly many locals working at the restaurants located along the same road as Hilton Hotel did not even know where Hilton Hotel is and gave us wrong directions to the hotel!
