Apts at 49th by NamaStay

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and living room, very spacious. In downtown Memphis, the location was excellent. Parking was provided in a very close garage. The view of the Auto Zone Park was priceless. The view of downtown of the park was special. There was mold on the bathroom curtains and under the master bathroom sink. The hardwood floors were filthy. Carpets needed heavy vacuuming and even cleaning. The oven needed serious cleaning. A deep cleaning should address these issues. It was not comfortable in this time of Covid.

Great location but poor cleaning

The apartment was not properly clean. The floor was sticky and dirty, found a used bottle and a used cup behind the bed, one kid stepped on small sharp object, etc. Adittionally the reservation included two parking permits but we just had one. We called to complaint about it but the girl hung up on us.

Disappointed

The unit was a substantial size. Upon arrival there were no keys or parkung passes so that led to us having to parking a block away in which we got a ticket trying to feed meter evert two hours also led to us being approached by knife point trying to walk back right after my grandson furneral. Unfortunately there hadn't been a cleaning service in quite sometimes. I feel that if they fix their communication problems between management and staff it wont be a horrible location for tge price. Heaven forbid a person as a maintenance issue because there was no one near property to solve anything an people on the phone just gave you the same generic answers that doesn't help when your downtown in a major city with no where to park and no keys to make sure unit was secure. They neveeeer got back to me during stay so we had to swap going to furneral to insure safety of unit and took a chance on the day of the furneral that the key pad will work uopn return so if you and your family stay its an adequate amount of space but goodluck if we had to park a block away during covid it will be worse once everything returns to normal and that is not safe

Used dirty towels folded as clean were really nasty. Others haven’t watched properly like without detergent. Floor looks clean but it is an ilusión, as our socks were black after 5min in the apartment. Even the sofa was dirty that we have to cover to be able to sit. Missing some blind in the main living area leave you with no privacy from people entering the building can see inside. Missing fire monitors, some lights don’t working. This unit need a professional and DEEP housekeeper to clean and sanitize the whole apartment.

The apartment was very functional, but it was not as clean as it should have been. In addition, the furnishings were very sparse. There was one TV in the living room, but none in the bedrooms. There was only one sofa and one chair. There was a lot of empty space that could have been furnished. The garbage disposal did not work and numerous lamps were very finicky to get to stay on. All in all - an ok property, but could have been much better.

Spacious - good for family on the go!

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay - very good for a family!! Very spacious 2bed/2bath - so we didn't feel like we were crammed in. We were able to comfortably entertain others attending the reunion. Having a fully furnished kitchen was great - able to cook quick meals - saving on eating out for every meal! Not having on-site staff was a different experience for us, but the online/ph reps were very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Only a few items were not up to par (a table lamp not working, cushions loose on dining table chairs, ice maker broken). The space and competitive pricing (about the same daily rate as 3.5 star hotels, and in some cases less!) more than made up for these items.
