Charming experience with warm welcome and service
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and touring the city and nearby WWII sights during our two night stay. We were able to communicate with Claire (the owner) via email/text to let her know we arrived. She met us shortly after and gave us a historical explaination of the apartment that had a kitchen (a surprise to us). It would be a great place to cook if staying for a longer period. We ate out at restaurants instead. Was hoping to use the hot tub, but there was an additional fee that I didn’t notice on the website. We didn’t have the chance to enjoy is unfortunately. The hotel is on the Main Street and there was a market set up outside our “shop” door. We enjoyed strolling along the street and tasted Calvados (Apple liquor) which is a specialty of the Normandy region. We also enjoyed touring the cathedral and saw the tapestry before heading for our next destination. Claire was such a warm and welcoming hostess! She was charming and we enjoyed speaking with her. Her husband is an artist and many pieces of his art decorated the apartment we stayed in. I would highly recommend the experience and unique stay.

Feel like a VIP visitor in great place!
I can't say enough good things about the hospitality of our host and hostess. They are lively, interesting, caring and wonderful people. They cared about our comfort, and experience and made sure we knew exactly the best local places to go. They even made phone calls to get us reservations at a great local restaurant, and are sending us autographed books from their friend who wrote a wonderful book about Normandy and its history. We were lucky enough to be there for the semi-finals of the World Cup, and they met us at their local bar and made sure we had seats to watch the game and felt like part of the "Champion" Family. And the accommodations were wonderful- unique and charming and very comfortable. Breakfast in the courtyard was personalized and romantic! We highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay at a unique charming place with great host and hostess in a central location!
