Simply perfect in every conceivable way
We booked this hotel well before CV-19 had appeared in Europe and so we were a little apprehensive about what to expect. Any fears were absolutely groundless - the hotel does everything possible to keep the guests safe and the location is simply fantastic for social distancing as the beach outside the hotel is very lightly used compared to the sections nearer to Saint Cyprien centre.
From the moment you check in, to the time you (reluctantly) depart, the staff out of their way to make sure your stay is as relaxing and smooth as possible. The seaviw room was compact but very well equipped and immaculately clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower simply amazing. I suspect they have had a makeover recently as everything looked brand new. It was great to have tea & coffee facilities in the room and the presence of a fridge was a brilliant addition. Our balcony was spacious and the room safe was big enough to hold a laptop. The provision of dressing gowns and slippers was an unexpected extra as were 4 power sockets and 6 (yes six) USB charging points!
The pool area was also well maintained and monitored to ensure the maximum of 60 people was not exceeded.
The restaurant was clean, spacious and the set menu, although limited to two choices of each course, was varied throughout the week. The food was excellent in both taste and presentation and the wines reasonably priced and breakfast was an extensive buffet including anchovies!
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
