Lots of character and friendliness
We stopped there for a shopping trip to Bicester, which is very close, though not within walking distance. Great hospitality, lovely pub, on-site parking. We ate there and the food was really nice and hot. The room was a deluxe one which was very spacious. Clean, warm with a lovely big, comfy bed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. More expensive than a hotel chain, but so much more cozy and characterful.

Beautiful hotel tastefully decorated with that “ye olde england” feel, heavenly comfy beds and polite courteous staff. A few broken lamp shades & broken tap but these are minor things.
