Fantastic location for those taking the Metro Red Line to/from airport..station just outside the door. Across from Corte Ingles which has a great food court and a supermarket for last-minute purchases. Down the block from Calouste Gulbenkian Museum. Well maintained, friendly staff, has an elevator!!! Nice breakfast included with scrambled eggs, all day coffee and snacks. Room is reasonably spacious however the bathroom is incredibly narrow..not sure a large person could use the toilet easily! Bed was a little soft on one side and pillows could be better (shredded foam type). . Nice toiletries, towels. Somewhat noisy..not sure if that was the train underneath my room or someone sliding or opening a door...but it seems many Lisbon hotels have a noise problem in my limited experience. Staff was especially helpful when there was surprise Metro strike..called me an Uber on their account (using my credit card at a fixed rate..said not to worry if the driver surcharged). There does not appear to be any room safe. Getting in involves a large collection of keys! I would stay here again..two nights. TV and Wifi worked fine.

Nice city apartment
Nice apartment in residential building. Next to subway; AC is not available at night. Sleeping with windows open you also hear a lot of city noise with building located on a busy intersection. Staff is friendly; Breakfast is great; Good value.

I want to go back to Lisboa just to stay here.
I arrived waaaayyyyyy early for check in from the overnight train from Madrid. (I thought I had booked a sleeper car---no--but that's another story). As a tired, hot, overall mess, I was just wanting to leave my luggage and then walk about the city. The immaculately professional and gracious woman at the desk, sensed my distress, stored my bags, allowed me to use a washroom, and invited me to partake in the breakfast that had just started. That might have been the best coffee, water, OJ, muesli, fruit, and yogurt bowel I have ever had. I felt 1000% better. I walked around the city and checked in later that afternoon with another wonderfully friendly and helpful woman on watch! The room was beautiful. The towels were soft. The WiFi worked perfectly. And there was a small decanter of Port in the room--oh yeah. I drank that. A wonderful feature of this place is that it's in a *very* quiet neighborhood but several feet from the metro station that is on the red *and* blue line. As such, you are minutes away from all the action, museums, restaurants, etc, or 18 minutes directly to the airport. Wonderful.

Artlover's base in Lisbon
A good choice for me - easy by Metro to the airport (and town centre, although I walked) as a line junction point and close to the Gulbenkian (an excellent museum that I usually visit in Lisbon). If I travel solo to Lisbon again I will probably return to this hotel. BTW there are a cople of different Metro exits - one is directly by the hotel: ask the hotel for info on this and it will save you a few minutes of orientation / road crossings. Friendly staff, a coffee/breakfast room accessible during the day for "laptop work", and a nice room. The only minor issue is that as the area around the hotel was under construction and the hotel building partially also the "arrival experience" was impacted - I am sure it will be prettier by now.
