Location, location, location!
I booked my stay accidentally on line after reading that the hotel is newly open since end of 2017 and I am very glad I made the choice for my 8 nights stay in HK recently. It is perfectly located between Causeway Bay and Wanchai where most of my appointments as well as activities are based. There is an array of reasonably priced international and local food choices within the radar of 1km. Hotel staff is both helpful and knowledgeable of my needs and enquiries. Room is clean, though modestly designed, yet quite spacious, and i enjoyed partial view of Victoria Harbour. Bathroom is well equipped with most basic necessities. Corridor is airy and bright which is a plus to my liking. TV is equipped with most satellite channels. The aiir-conditioning is found to be a bit too cold to my comforts though, so I requested a door-stopper from front desk to bring extra air in from corridor to balance the room temperature as well as ventilation. If you are looking for a good budget hotel which is conveniently located, I recommend Hotel Ease Access Wanchai on Hong Kong Island with no hesitation. Thank you, staff members of the hotel. I have had a very pleasant experience being taken care by you guys.

New Hotel in Wanchai
Difficult to find first time, There are posters with an abbreviated name "Hotel Ease" on a green background either side of the entrance which were not illuminated and not visible from a taxi. The reception is on 16th floor. Hotel wants a $500 deposit - this is solely for the mobile tourist phone they provide. If you don't want it they will remove it. I object to deposits when entire stay has been prepaid, unless there is a well-stocked minibar with wine/beer/spirits/mixers and snacks. Bottled water, a kettle and tea / coffee making facilities are also provided. Outside temperature was in single figures, being the middle of winter and even colder at night. My room was also very cold. There is no provision for any kind of heating in the hotel. Other than that my room was very comfortable and my stay very enjoyable.

Good location but lacking
Hotel Ease is in a decent location in Wan Chai but it is closer to Causeway Bay. About .7 from the MTR but very lively area. Room is very very small. Which I heard is normal in Hong Kong so I wasn't too surprised but the bathroom was actually pretty big and nice so I appreciated that. Desk: The notes said there is a desk, there really isn't. The "desk" held the coffee and hot water boiler so I could not call it a desk. You will not be able to work on it, also there is no where to sit. Bed: hard and not comfy. No fitted sheets. They provided two new bottles of water daily so that was nice. STRONG Negative: I used the bath towels to remove my make up AFTER I showered which I always do. I already showered and washed my face but a bit got on the towels. They changed me $39.77 USD to laundered the towels. This is absolutely insane. I was so scared to dirty any of their previous towels or bedding or sheets afterwards.

Clean new hotel, but no free minibar like claimed
This hotel is new and rooms are pretty small but convenient. Bed is hard like many times it is in Hong Kong hotels. Most people at the front desk speak good English. Cleaning lady speaks only Chinese. Location is in the halfway of Causeway Bay and Wan Chai MTR stations. There are many bus and tram connections as well. Many small restaurants in the area and food market. Only major problem was the promise of free minibar. There are two sodas and one beer in the minibar. It is filled only the first day. If you stay a week you still get only first day one beer, one coke and one sprite. I don't think that qualifies free minibar. Also the room doesn't have any cabinet with doors for clothes. Overall price and quality are good but I wouldn't stay there if they advertise free mini bar.

Nice location
The hotel location was good as it's nearby lots of places. And you can travel all Hong Kong by MTR. Nearest to this hotel was Causeway Bay MTR. Big mall Sogo is also nearby. Lots of foodies. Unpleasant was the room they gave me was a disable double room. It's not what I expect to be given at all. Was a bit disappointed. But the housekeeper was good as she always make sure our room was clean. Checking out was tad slow and when it's my turn as after checking the room is Ok, the staff say ok all good u cam go now... she didnt even remember my deposit I paid during check in till I ask her suddenly she remember... Anyway....the only good thing about the hotel was the location and the cleanliness of the room. I will still go back to the hotel again in the future.
