Countless problems that brought me close to tears, the entire staff (1 person for the 5 floor hotel) couldn't speak more than two words of English so became quite a problem when trying to check in. They had no idea how to find their hotels.com bookings and demanded I paid them more money when I had already pre-paid, after asking them to please check their own emails which I had to actually physically do as the woman didn't understand how to use the computer, my booking was finally found!
I was taken to the room but the receptionist couldn't find the key anywhere so put me in a Quadruple Room and said wait here till 10pm (was 5pm at the time) and don't leave till my boss returns. So as I was exhausted and very hot from sitting in reception being part of the staff I went to have a shower, but as I was about to step in, the receptionist storms in to the room and tells me she has now found the dorm key and I must move immediately, not leaving for me to get dressed privately! (The quad room was actually really nice and clean) once being shown the dorm room it was evident that the entire floor was soaked from a leak and the AC controls were taken so meant the room was around 35c, after all these issues I asked if I could have a discounted upgrade to a double room but they wanted full price. I paid the full price but then 10 mins later was told there were no double rooms left and would have to pay more again for the family room I was put in earlier. The worst experience ever!!
