Love this place.
Was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room, the comfort of the bed and the amazing view of the water, the stars at night, and the sunrise. My only regret is that we couldn't stay long and explore the lovely downtown.

Perfect. Everyrhing perfect except we couldnt hang out on the balcony due to hundreds of baby spiders and spider webs with adults all over balcony and chairs .

Quiet, great for boaters, expected more for the $
The Point Resort was quiet. It is a smaller facility. The room was very spacious and nice. We stayed on a holiday weekend and paid double the price because of it. It wasn't worth double. There isn't much to do in the area but it is a great place to launch a boat and play in the lake. Our main purpose was to visit the Smokies so we were a little far for that. All in all it was a good stay. Take some food and drinks with you as there is a fridge and microwave and the balcony is a peaceful place to eat.

Nice lake view worth looking at
The water is the shower would only get warm not hot and the lights in the bedroom didn't work. We reset the GFI and got one light to work but it was still pretty dark in the bedroom at night. Loved the view and was comfortable. Never saw hotel staff our entire stay.
