Good stay directly on St.Pete Beach
We really enjoyed this old school motel. It was right on the beach at a great location on St. Pete beach. They have a couple of grills for guests to use and 2 pools. Don't expect a brand new motel, but overall we loved this place and would have stayed a week if we would have had time.

Great location for price
The location is ideal… right on beach and you can walk everywhere. Keep in mind…the hotel is dated! We had issues with cleanliness (dirty room) but Justin and Alex responded quickly and moved us rooms. So A+ for customer service. I would bring my own bath towels next visit (old and worn) but beds and sheets were clean and crisp. Again… it’s an older beach hotel… you know what you’re signing up for so don’t expect the Ritz. And always bring your own beach towels. Amenities in the room were fine and it smelled clean. The 2 pools were very clean and refreshing! We would definitely come back to the Miramar- as long as the price is right.

Don't do it
This place is extremely run-down. Not clean. Towels are horrible, no water pressure. I was told it's closing soon and being torn down. I can see why. Great location, but that's it.

Where are the towels and staff?
It was very frustrating needing service and no one was available because no one is in the office to assist. We did not receive fresh towels for two nights, we had to use the same towel. We had four people staying in one room and only had sets for two. My daughters had to use hand towels as bath towels, the first night I was there I went to place the floor towel down to step out on and the towel was soaked (not sure why), We couldn’t get the TV to give us a code for us to watch tv. I have no idea why it didn’t have regular channels or cable available. The next day we left early (7:30am) and when we got back it was 5:30pm and the office staff had left so another evening and night with no TV. The front door was hard to lock and it was hard to park a van with a lift on it for my scooter. I am not sure how anyone can communicate when you need assistance. The phone number on the door was for emergencies only. This was a very odd place.
