Great Ryokan!!!
This Ryokan is in a very nice on a really quiet neighborhood. There is no kitchen on premise so be aware that you will have to walk to restaurants. The nearest ones close early; if you are looking to eat late, you will have to walk about 10 minutes north or south to the metro stations. There is a 7-eleven near open later but not 24 hours. Other than that highly recommended the accommodations.

Nice, little getaway
Extremely clean, courteous staff, and comfortable rooms made our experience really nice. We took full advantage if the bath inside the room for the two nights we stayed. It can be easily missed if you don't know what you are looking for, but once you are here, it is an brisk, ten minute walk to the Gotanno train line.

Hidden Gem!
The good; the hotel is beautiful, our room was wonderfully decorated with traditional Japanese touches, they go so far as not allowing shoes to be worn inside the building. The traditional feel carries into our which had beautifully crafted woodwork throughout. The highlight of the room had to be wooden soaking tub. Both the room and hotel were spotless, our bed was extremely comfortable and offered nice amenities. The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful, even though they didn't speak much English. The bad: the location is a little bit off the beaten hidden path, it's a good 15 to 20 minute walk from the train station, which can be a task with luggage. Being off the path, they are too many shops/restaurants in the immediate area. Don't get me wrong, still options around just not as plentiful. Last criticism is the rooms are on the small side, by American standards. Overall the hotel is great, I would absolutely stay there again. Its a great little gem.

Lovely little inn with great service
Our stay was wonderful. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The room was comfortable for four people and we loved the private bath. If I have one complaint, the extra futon was on the thin side (we were four people) so it was hard for the two that slept there. I loved the location. It was not really central, but that meant that you had access to a lot of really great local eateries that were both cheap and delicious. The closest station (Gotanno) is connected to the Metro Line and has easy access to the Tokyo Skytree. If you check the timetables, taking the JR Joban Express lines from.Kita Senju gets you into town pretty quickly.
