Rat-infested venue, son fell ill, rubbish Management, poor Customer Service, avoid at all cost!
Thought Ritz-Carlton Langkawi would be ideal place for a holiday, ended up far from ideal. We couldn’t sleep for 2 nights, kept hearing rustling and movement at night, realised it was rats/vermin when we found some fruit bitten into by the rats, and scratch marks on upholstery nearby. Staff wouldn’t believe it until I showed them pics. Son got ill, prob due to rat urine-infected food/fruit, ruined our holiday. Management were absolutely shocking, refused to believe it despite moving us out and getting Pest Control in. Spoke to numerous Management but they didn’t even offer any compensation at all, even after ruining our holiday and getting our son ill! Normal staff were very sympathetic but when the Senior Management is not customer-focussed, then it’s difficult for the remainder of the staff. Very surprising indeed.
Will never stay there again, you’re far better off staying at Four Seasons or The Danna(they have better beaches also!).
Don’t waste your money at the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi—a real shocker of a place, and worst Management Customer Service ever!’
