The main issue was the unacceptable amount of noise late into the evening- absolutely no consideration shown to those of us staying in the building situated only a few feet away from the pub & it’s outdoor drinking area, which is situated around the rear entrance to the pub. They have a very large TV screen attached to the outside wall of the residence building, with the outdoor drinking area only a few feet away - during my stay they were watching football. There was continuous noise from people talking very loudly, cheering, booing and banging on tables - the manager that I spoke to knew full well that there were people staying in rooms only a few feet away from the noise yet he chose not to do anything about the problem- there needs to be a strong & very clear warning on your website otherwise they’re giving themselves, & of course Hotel.com, a bad reputation. On arrival the room was ridiculously cold. The bathroom was clean but all 3 dispensers in the bathroom were empty & the towels did not appear or smell freshly cleaned - when I broached this matter with the manager he tried to assure me that they were clean & are returned vacuum packed - I doubt that he has the motivation, interest or concern to follow this up! Carpet looked as if it needed a jolly good clean, bedside table & bedheads looked shoddy, 1 bedside lamp definitely needed binning. Kettle and TV worked & hairdryer was brought to me upon request. Strangely, the mattress, duvet,sheets & pillows were great.
