Amazing team, great location
Manuel and his team made our stay unbelievably wonderful. From the very beginning they made sure we felt welcome, that we had any tips we needed (all of which were excellent) The hotel is in a great location. Right by a metro which takes you everywhere so easily so you’re in a great location. It’s not too noisy so we slept very very well: breakfast was great and served until 11 which was really useful on days we were a bit sleepy. Our room also had a balcony where we could have our breakfast. Honestly so lovely. We hadn’t realised it was shared bathrooms so that’s worth noting but they were always clean and we never had to wait or queue. I’d go back in a heartbeat and I’d take my Mum which speaks volumes!!! Thank you Manuel and Team :)

Very Good 8.0
I came to attend a conference and planned to spend a lot of time working in the room. I had a very pleasant stay overall. The hosts are gracious and attentive. The room is fine. The bathrooms are shared (I didn't read carefully before I booked, but this was fine after the surprise). The common room is nice, with lots of reading materials, games and a balcony across from the historic bull fighting ring. The breakfast is very simple, but sufficient. The coffee is plentiful. The location is very good - with lots of shopping, restaurants and public transportation in walking distance. There is only a very small sign on the door of the building marking the place - best to know its right next to the Mexican/Turkish restaurant. There was some construction work going on on both sides of the apartment, but it ended early, so only was a bother in the morning (beyond the control of the hosts, of course). The wifi worked well. Overall a nice stay!

Exceptional 10.0
The hotel is just in 2 min walk from Campo Paceno metro station and in 7-8 min walk from Entrecampos station from where you can take a train to Oriente station (takes about 12-15 min) and from there trains go to different other cities like Tomar, Coimbra, etc. Near the hotel there are many cafes and restaurants, a few grocery stores (one is right across the road in the underground shopping center). It's very clean and you feel like at home. I stayed one night before in a more expensive hotel in Madrid and I liked the Republica Hotel better.

Clean, comfortable & safe place to stay
We stayed 3 nights. Manuel & Anna were very helpful with arrangements prior to and during our stay. The ensuite room was clean and had a wonderful balcony. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water for a shower. Breakfast was good. There was a nice gathering room for us to use as well as refrigerator & microwave in the kitchen..The room was handicapped accessible with 2 elevators to use.

Nice hotel - Friendly staffs
The hotel is great, close to the metro and some interesting buses. We got a lot of advices from the staffs, specially from Manuel. He suggested a lot of great place to visit, and important information about transportation. Breakfasts are included which is nice. Even if the bathrooms are shared, there are always an available bathroom at all time. Rooms and bathrooms are clean.
