Before making a reservation to this hotel,I called and asked was this hotel across from the beach. Well I get there and it is not there is a port there a marina I was taking my family on vacation to the beach not to a port Marina. Well with there being a beach there that's what I was told right across the street I booked the room when I got there I tried to get the booking off the clerk told me that I was the 7th person that had been lied to and he is not been able to fix anybody's bookings. I told them I wanted a refund and I could go somewhere else they told me they could not do that that I would have to pay the whole stay 576.88 if I left that day that I got there so I asked if I stay one night can you refund the other he said yes I paid $288 for one night & was charged 576.88. I had a brand new hat stolen by room service when I brought this up they acted like they couldn't find my hat. One of the worst staffs besides the Hampton Inn by Hilton on Okaloosa Island. I will not be staying at a Holiday Inn never again if I have to worry about my belongings being stolen. If I was not up under so much time I would have just called the police. Very unprofessional Hotel
