If you stay here, make sure you dish out the extra cash for a condo because the regular rooms look NOTHING like the photos. Our condo was beautiful and spacious, albeit a few things were left in the closet from the people before. Our friends got a one bedroom room for only $70/night less than us and it was completely outdated and looked like a dorm room. No fridge. No microwave. Sink IN the bedroom with rust dripping off it. Antiquated bathroom. Three small beds in one room. So weird.

Staff returned a Kindle we forgot in room promptly. Surprised our condo didn’t t have a king sized bed so moved to the oldest building on site with fair amenities! Spectrum on TV ‘s is terrible, very hard to watch especially when weather is rainy. Dining room should offer breakfast and early morning coffee every day??

Vintage resort with years of history. The hotel lobby was very vintage and a bit unkept. The room was new (or it appeared to be) and comfortable. A bit small (bed, couch, chair, TV cabinet, two end tables). No desk. Did have a nice enclosed porch behind sliding glass doors. Coffe maker but no coffee in the room. Needed to go to the lobby for packets. The coffee maker was missing a lid which prevented it from functioning. Staff replaced it. No TV remote. Staff provided one but it didn't control sound. No ice in the parking garage freezer (the area designated to get ice). I guess I would have expected a bit more attention to detail for a $240 per night room.

    Better days.

Sink in bathroom did not drain, at all. Twenty minutes to empty. Room was ok, clean, but void of any charm and certainly not a value for the price. I would have expected a bottle of water. The grounds are not wheelchair accessible, though our room did have a level shower stall. No handicap bars anywhere. Not recommended. Convenient to other resorts, would not label this one a “resort” but a motel with a tavern. Well past its prime.

Old hotel with charm. Was not impressed with check in. The person never really told us how to access our building. We were new to the area.

    Great place

Even though it was off season. My stay was very comfortable and relaxing. The hotel was very clean and all accommodations were met for the children. Definitely will be back again this summer for more fun.

    Great competitor to the Osthoff...

Amazing historic hotel in Elkhart Lake, competing with the Ostoff nearby. Excellent service. Condo style rooms, very clean and inviting. Everything you need is there. Only complaint was the in room coffee maker wasn't clean, but this was an anomoly.Highly recommend!

Would probably give this place a 2nd chance

Unfortunately, with the Pandemic going on and it being November Elkhart Lake was very quiet and few people staying at the resort. Restaurant on premises was closed. Route 67 was delicious for dinner, large serving sizes. Off the Rail had great breakfast sandwiches and baked goods/coffee. Well worth the stop.

We have never visited this area and loved the sound of cars at Road America. But something tells us that the place is haunted. Both rooms we rented had beds that would slide off the platform. And there was unexplained knocking at super weird hours. There are no super nice extras here. Bring your shower cap, your own food. Luckily I was upgraded to an apt. So I was able to make coffee for my group. Basics only and lobby closes at 9
