Location Is NOT Worth All Of The Negatives!
We stayed here thinking it would be great to be close to the pyramids of Giza. The view from the property was the best part of our stay. The area around the hotel is quite run down. If you go out walking, you will be constantly hounded by locals. The room was run down and quite dirty. The shower was not that easy to use. We booked a two room suite and the second room was rented out to another guest when we arrived. We did get the second room for the second and third nights. The front desk staff was helpful but only to the extent that they could sell other excursions for high prices. We took a trip to Alexandria with a guide that did not speak great english and was hard of hearing. They sold us on a Nile Cruise and then changed the boat we were to go on. There was no offer to refund our money or make other booking arrangements. They talked us into staying in an affiliated property in Luxor that was also a disappointment. It was not walkable to anything in Luxor and there was not wifi. All in all, we would not stay here again and would discourage others from staying here as well. If you do stay here, do NOT book other trips through their front desk.

Incredible host and location!
Our stay at the hotel was beyond amazing! Farag, the owner, was the best host I’ve ever had!! He was generous, kind, and hospitable. He gave us tour options, made us coffee, and let us stay to recharge a few hours after we had checked out while we waited to go to the airport. All his staff was also very kind and helpful in everything. He told us we were like family and he truly made us feel like it, something I’ve never experienced before at a hotel. And of course, the location is excellent. Right next to the pyramids of Giza. The view from the roof is excellent. Highly recommend staying here and would come back here in a heartbeat.

The best stay I had in Egypt. The manager of hotel picked me up from another hotel and dropped me off at the airport. The driver did not ask or expect any sense of reimbursement for this trip. I was pleased with breakfast, the friendly stay and everything about the area. Lovely stay. Pyramid view priceless.

A very pleasant stay
The owner was a very helpful person, and tried to get me the best prices for everything. The view from the rooftop and my room were amazing, as promised. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Great hotel with exceptional views of pyramids
Perfect location in walking distance to the Sphinx and the pyramids. Views on upper balcony were priceless with a view of the three pyramids in view; Watch the night color show at night and eat breakfast in awe of the sight. Service was great and owner treats you like family. Clean sheets on top and bottom of blankets. Recommended. Great for families.

Mixed experience
Pros: The view of pyramids from the rooftop is amazing. Breakfast is very good (eggs, yogurt, coffee, bread). At times, they had fresh mango juice- yum! The room I had was large with a good view of the great pyramid. There was access to a refrigerator and a microwave. Cons: Neighborhood is not great, especially for a solo traveler. I expected to be able to walk to dinner, to the pyramids, and do other tourist things on my own but staff insisted this was not safe. The bathroom was dirty (grimy walls, a lot of standing water in the corner of the tub, etc). There was no housekeeping service during my stay. Some basic amenities were missing or had to be specifically requested- i.e., there was no shower curtain and only a single hand-towel sized cloth to dry off with. There was no bath mat. I had to ask for toilet paper when I arrived. I was pressured to book tours through the hotel. This started with messages through hotels.com before I even arrived, suggesting tour packages that included other lodging and other cities during the time I was scheduled to stay at the hotel. It felt very strange and confusing. When I arrived, I booked several day or half day tours through the hotel and all were awful. I know this was intended to be friendly but it was a little unnerving, especially as a solo female traveler, when one of the staff said that he looked me up on the internet and social media before I arrived and correctly identified where I went to college.
