A very pleasant stay
The owner was a very helpful person, and tried to get me the best prices for everything. The view from the rooftop and my room were amazing, as promised. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Great hotel with exceptional views of pyramids
Perfect location in walking distance to the Sphinx and the pyramids. Views on upper balcony were priceless with a view of the three pyramids in view; Watch the night color show at night and eat breakfast in awe of the sight. Service was great and owner treats you like family. Clean sheets on top and bottom of blankets. Recommended. Great for families.

Mixed experience
Pros: The view of pyramids from the rooftop is amazing. Breakfast is very good (eggs, yogurt, coffee, bread). At times, they had fresh mango juice- yum! The room I had was large with a good view of the great pyramid. There was access to a refrigerator and a microwave. Cons: Neighborhood is not great, especially for a solo traveler. I expected to be able to walk to dinner, to the pyramids, and do other tourist things on my own but staff insisted this was not safe. The bathroom was dirty (grimy walls, a lot of standing water in the corner of the tub, etc). There was no housekeeping service during my stay. Some basic amenities were missing or had to be specifically requested- i.e., there was no shower curtain and only a single hand-towel sized cloth to dry off with. There was no bath mat. I had to ask for toilet paper when I arrived. I was pressured to book tours through the hotel. This started with messages through hotels.com before I even arrived, suggesting tour packages that included other lodging and other cities during the time I was scheduled to stay at the hotel. It felt very strange and confusing. When I arrived, I booked several day or half day tours through the hotel and all were awful. I know this was intended to be friendly but it was a little unnerving, especially as a solo female traveler, when one of the staff said that he looked me up on the internet and social media before I arrived and correctly identified where I went to college.
