Nice room but loud and staff quite rude
The room was quite nice and clean but I was right next to the lift which was very loud so had disturbed sleep. Also the hotel staff were quite rude and unfriendly, and the check in process took a long time. The hotel staff insisted I paid a EUR 1.50 city tax charge even though when I checked my confirmation, it is supposed to be included. Its obviously not a significant amount so wasn't too fussed but what annoyed me was I tried to explain this to the receptionist and he just spoke over me and was quite forceful about it.

Well located hotel with good transport links
Hotel Garden Court is a well located, central hotel in Prague - with excellent transport links via Tram & Metro. Good shopping facilities are available nearby and the hotel is within walking distance to all of Prague's main attractions. Upon our check-in, the receptionists were quite busy & rushed and as a result, we felt they were slightly abrupt but still pleasant enough. On another visit to reception to enquire about another night's stay, we found the receptionist rather unhelpful as he shrugged off our request and told us to come back in the morning to ask someone else. Our room was located on the fourth floor and was very nice indeed with mini bar facilities included. Only downside to the bedroom is that the bed sheets are washed in quite a harsh powder which left us with a rash after two days - so if you have sensitive skin then I'd suggest wearing full length pyjamas or perhaps make a special request to the hotel to see if they can accommodate. No bar is available at this hotel which was disappointing, however it's Prague - there's no shortage of bars. Breakfast was included in our room rate, with quite a good selection available including fruits, yogurts, croissants, pancakes, toast & preserves, sausages, bacon and eggs. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Garden Court and would recommend this hotel to friends, and return in the future.

Great place to stay
The hotel is not fancy, but it's very clean and comfortable. It's not far from all the tourist attractions. You can easily walk to the old town square, Charles Bridge, National Theater, etc. The breakfast provided is really good and you have a lot of options. Best breakfast I've had during my trip in Czech republic.

Exceptional 10.0
This was a surprisingly great hotel. We usually search the hotel and surroundings in google maps but this hotel didn't seem to be nice at all. Google needs to update this pictures. This was actually the best hotel. They started giving us great room service even before we got there arranging transportation for us to get to the hotel. The room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and yummy. But the best asset is definitely the staff. Margharet (sorry if I spelled it wrong) helped us all the time with the best of smiles and Alex was also very nice with our needs. He arranged the Taxi cab that waited for us at the train station. We had a great experience at this hotel. Would blindly recommend this hotel to everybody.
