Very Good 8.0
New and Loud in Westlands
The hotel was very new and in good condition. My only issue was the walls are very thin and I had some loud people staying next to me.

Good 6.0
It is a brand new hotel in Westlands, and still very clean and maintained. The rooms are comfortable, although, the queen size bed is really two smaller mattresses put together with a sheet over them, so not really a large bed. Bathrooms are new and have a good shower, although on a small side. Two restaurants, on on the top floor and one at the ground level. Staff friendly, and views from the top a plus. The food is mediocre at best, at both places (steak overcooked, roast chicken dry and old, salad tasty), but there is good coffee, including espresso. The hotel is right on crazy-busy Waiyaki Way, and there is a matatu stop smack in front of the hotel, which can color to any experience. It also prevents you from really walking to any other place - so you have to take taxis. That's a shame, as a few good restaurants are literally across this crazy road. Hotel has a modest gym, and a small swimming pool up top. Wifi pretty strong, in most areas. Overall, not a bad place, and here is hoping it stays maintained!

Very Good 8.0
Great for 1 night
From what I know, this hotel was built in the last year or so and it certainly felt like it. It's brand new and felt incredibly clean. It's perfect for a quick stay for a night or 2 but might feel a bit sterile after a few days. The aesthetics are very modern, although it's a bit of a no frills sort of hotel. The rooftop bar is great for drinks and has a cool view of the city. However, the "plunge" pool on top is a really fitting name -- no room for anything but plunging. The gym was slightly disappointing as I thought there would be more equipment/space; it's comprised of 2/3 treadmills and some light weights in a tiny area. The room was perfect for what was needed and the lighting around the bed frame and bathroom mirrors was a great touch. My biggest complaint though was that out of the 2 showers I took, I did not have hot water... Not sure what happened there.
